What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol is a standard that allows Claude to use external tools and services such as Money AI.
Does Claude store my Money AI database?
Money AI remains the source of truth. Claude requests specific information through Money AI tools. Information returned to Claude may be handled or retained under its provider’s policies.
Can Claude change my transactions without permission?
No. Financial writes use Money AI’s prepare → review → confirm workflow.
Does Money AI need my bank password?
No. Money AI does not request or store banking passwords, PINs or OTPs.
Does MCP work on the Free plan?
No. MCP starts with Money AI Lite.
What is the difference between Lite and Pro MCP?
Lite provides core reading and transaction-recording capabilities. Pro adds supported corrections, transfers, and category, event and rule management.
Can MCP convert SGD to MYR?
No. Money AI keeps currencies separate and does not invent exchange rates.
